1978 Mercury Grand Marquis - (1995-1995) Photo found on the internet. I bought this car as a 2nd car while living in Albuquerque. I thought it was a 1974, but looking at the photos online, this looked exactly like mine, color and all, so maybe mine was a 1978. It had 135,000 miles on it and I got it for $2000, kept it for almost a year, then donated it to some charity and took $2500 off my taxes. Not a bad deal for a temporary car. It ran really well despite the high mileage and certainly had all the luxury items, like power windows, etc. (In 1978, power windows were considered luxury :).
